ONE STUDENT MINISTRIES
About us:
Our mission is to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating environments where students prioritize their relationship with Christ, influence their friends, serve the whole church body, and experience personal ministry.
One Student Ministries meets every Wednesday @ 7:00p.m. in the gym building upstairs. This is a great place to experience great worship, in-depth teaching, and get connected with students striving to know and show Jesus more and more.
Events:
Lock-in @ Klamath Assembly
Youth Hang-Out Nights @ TBA
Parents:
Thank you parents! We have to note, that you parents are the primary influencers in student’s lives. Take the issue of time, for instance. With the occasional one-on-one, direct conversations, over the course of a week there may be up to three hours of large group contact with the students who show-up. So, for the most consistent kids in our group (who’ll miss some meetings), over the course of a school year they will have been involved in youth group for about 100 hours, plus a weekend or two and another week at camp. This is far less time than they’ll spend with most of the other caring adults in their lives—parents of close friends, bosses, teachers, and coaches. To varying degrees, they all care and influence your students. But this is most true for parents. As influential on kids as Youth Pastors are, we’re merely among the large cast of characters whose best work is done in conjunction with and under the tutelage of those adults charged by God to nurture our students—their parents.
